If you use Cardboard on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for:

  • safeguarding your account credentials,
  • all activity that occurs under your account, and

You may not share accounts or access the Service in an unauthorized way.

3. The Service

  • media upload, storage, and playback,
  • timeline-based editing tools,
  • AI-assisted features such as captions, search, and suggestions,
  • collaboration and sharing features,
  • export and publishing tools.

The Service is evolving. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee that any specific feature will remain available.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create using the Service ("Customer Content").

By using the Service, you grant Cardboard a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to operate and improve the Service and as directed by you through your use.

You represent and warrant that:

  • you own or have sufficient rights to Customer Content, and
  • Customer Content does not violate any law, contract, or third-party rights.

5. AI-Assisted Features

Some features rely on automated or AI-assisted processing.

By using these features, you acknowledge that:

  • outputs are generated algorithmically and may contain errors,
  • you are responsible for reviewing outputs before use or publication,
  • Cardboard does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated outputs.

Cardboard does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, including their availability, security, or terms. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.

8. Fees and Payments (If Applicable)

Some features may require payment.

If you purchase a paid plan:

  • fees are billed as disclosed at the time of purchase,
  • payments are non-refundable except as required by law,

Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.

9. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access:

  • Cardboard is not SOC 2 certified at this time.

You acknowledge and accept these limitations.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardboard disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation.
